Shared Folder = (for testing) then as the name of the folder in the root of the hard drive you have stored your videos in. Putting the ip address should be enough to gain access, the folder is probably only needed if you have both tv shows and films so you need one folder for each because of the different content for scraping purposes. "UsbDisk1_Volume1_share" is the name assigned to the disk, it isn't a folder share as it is the root of the disk. Since X-Plore can see the folder you have smb working, now you just need access, you should be able to tap on the server to expand the folder, it might prompt you for a username/password.
I think we're looking at the same manual, it's 27 pages but the pages have numbers on them too, pg21 of the pdf labelled 35/36. In both toggled and not toggled cases it kicks me back to the password. I have tried both toggling the slider for "remember for this path" and leaving it alone. Kodi picks up the user name as the SSID for the 2.4 LAN I went back into Kodi and entered the following I see FILEHUB (SMB1) under the IP address and "UsbDisk1_Volume1_share" as a folder.
